Today was the annual
Holi festival at the Krishna temple in Spanish Fork. In India,
Holi announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. Thousands of people
descended on the temple grounds for the throwing of colors.
I had heard about the festival a couple of years ago, but we had never gone before. It's a huge cultural event here in the valley...people of all religions gathering to celebrate the season, and to have some colorful fun. Lane and I decided to go check it out at the last minute today. After seeing the masses of people and the cloud of powdery haze hanging over the grounds, we settled for some drive by photos.

Vay you crazy woman!!! LOL we used to go to Festival of Colors every year but now it is waaaaaaaaaaay too crowded...I hate masses of people. But I'm glad you enjoyed it. :-)
