Ocarina Collection

Tory and I were talking about ocarinas today, so I thought I'd share a picture of my small collection. It all started with the one with the black and white design. I had given it to one of my sons as a gift when he was younger, and it ended up in my collection of odd and curious items when he grew tired of it.

I picked up the other ocarinas thrifting...they are all inexpensive versions that were probably sold to tourists as souvenirs. I especially love the two tiny ones.

Ocarinas are typically clay whistles that are an elongated egg shape, but if you follow this link to google images, you'll see that other materials and designs are used as well.
